Recently, adidas teamed up with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to celebrate their 40th anniversary by going back to the roots of its existence with a design based on the original comic books. This special edition is based on one of the Trefoil brand’s most iconic footwear silhouettes, the world-famous Superstar. Introduced in 1969, the iconic design of adidas Originals' famous Superstar had a major impact on sneaker culture, thanks to the unique shape, the rubber shell toe box and the sophisticated look.
