The Upland Jacket by The North Face is a classic mesh-lined outdoor jacket equipped with a vintage monochrome look as well as advanced HyVent DT technology that utilizes a 3-layer construction to stay simultaneously breathable and waterproof in extreme conditions. The durable woven outer layer protects the wearer from abrasion, the mid-layer utilizes a polyurethane coating and micropores to channel water vapor from the inner layer to the outer while keeping water out. The comfortable inner layer is also engineered to manage moisture, channeling it up to the micropores. The final result is a superior waterproof, breathable technology that stays dry inside and out.
