Established in 1995 by Scott Sasso, New York-based brand 10Deep changed the game by offering progressive street-wear apparel with a unique edge. Highly influenced by hip hop, punk and skateboarding cultures, 10Deep’s early days saw collections of hand-designed t-shirts and tops plus selected denim goodies that represented the New York state of mind of the mid-to-late 90s. After years of success with kinda simple but dynamic styles, the brand grew into being an influential part of the rise of underground companies around the turn of the millennium. Since the early 2000s, 10Deep has expanded to solidify its landmark position in the industry and niche media community, thanks to unique online marketing moves plus sales initiatives. Powered by mutual respect, 10Deep also introduced a couple of audio collaborations – for example, the 10Deep mix series introduced high-profile artists like Wale, Kid Cudi or Donni to the world of music. But these guys are not known for limiting themselves, in the near future we’ll see great footwear collabos with legendary labels such as adidas, Timberland and Reebok as well as several co-branded decks produced by famous skateboarding brands.
