’47 Brand is a Boston-based company that was established in 1947 by the twin brothers Henry and Arthur D’Angelo. Instead of wasting their time in classrooms, these young Italian twin brothers got their education at Fenway Park where they connected with similar-minded baseball enthusiasts to trade memorabilia items. They soon developed a deep knowledge about baseball and the mechanism behind supporter items to start their own ’47 sports brand. Similar to baseball itself, the family business taught Arthur’s four sons, still co-owners of ’47 Brand, invaluable lessons in teamwork. Nowadays, ’47 Brand maintains licenses to create headwear, apparel plus accessories for the Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, National Hockey League, National Football League, Major League Lacrosse, National Rugby League as well as several US college institutions.
