The production process is also exciting: The Novesta Chelsea Boots are "baked" in a vulcanization tank at 140 °C for one hour, which allows the cotton lining and the upper material to bond perfectly. It's very important that the lining is made of cotton, because all synthetic materials would melt during vulcanization. When the Novesta boots cool down, each pair is hand tested to ensure they are fully waterproof.
