The adidas ZX 500 was introduced in the mid-80s (1984 to be exact) as a high-performance high mileage running shoe that features a clean, comfortable style as well as advanced technology. The ZX 500 already anticipated lots of details that were later seen on the ZX 700 such as a TPU heel counter for added stability.
