Asics UB4-S Gel-1130 (Graphite Grey / Grand Shark)

Updated by consultants from the Kiko Kostadinov Studio, the Asics UB4-S Gel-1130™ has been remixed for everyday functionality, including mixed materials and new aesthetic influences. ​The upper is reimagined with a layered mesh application that covers the signature Asics stripes. It’s meant to convey elements of speed, weightlessness and precision. Meanwhile, the eyestay borrows design details from the Gel-Foundation™ 8. Also, at least 50% of the shoe’s main upper material is made in part with recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions.

The Asics Gel-1130™ pays homage to the ninth generation of the brand's Gel-1000 ™ series, whose design has been further developed over the decades. Introduced in 2008, the Asics Gel-1130™ is a stable runner that was originally inspired by the Gel-Kayano™ 14 and is characterized by similar aesthetics. The traditional materials have been reimagined to add a modern look and feel. In addition, this Asics running shoe has been newly put together for daily use on the streets and equipped with Gel™ technology at the heel to ensure long-lasting comfort.
