The Porter-Yoshida & Co. Heat Tote Bag is part of the brand's Heat series which combines two different materials with excellent durability and water resistance, and features a rugged and stylish design.

Since the release of Porter-Yoshida & Co.'s 2001 A/W series, the company have added items that match the lifestyle of the time, and have a rich line-up that can be used by a wide range of people, from business bags to small items.

The main material is varistor nylon made in Japan woven with 66 nylon thread, which is also used for car airbags and bulletproof vests, and has excellent heat resistance, abrasion resistance, and tear strength. Some parts are made of highly water-resistant tarpaulin fabric, which is used as an industrial material. Although the Porter-Yoshida & Co. Heat Tote Bag is a one-tone black color, it has a stylish design with contrast by combining fabrics with different textures.

Military gimmicks are added everywhere, and the PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System), which allows you to attach pouches and small items by sewing nylon tape at regular intervals, is also a point. A D-Rings-ring and a double ring are also attached to the main unit so that you can attach small items with a snap hook or wallet chain.

The main body of the bag is made with thick nylon tape that is woven at high density at key points, giving the Porter-Yoshida & Co. Heat Tote Bag a three-dimensional silhouette that prevents the fabric from sagging and provides good handling.

All types excluding the pouch and wallet come with a detachable key chain made of tanned leather as well as a Maglite engraved with Porter-Yoshida & Co. branding. (the Maglite comes with a warranty card, key chain, battery, and attention, all in a special case.)

Porter-Yoshida & Co. Tote Bags

Porter Yoshida Kaban was founded in 1962 by Yoshida & Co. and is famous for its very high standards, which have been maintained until today in terms of design and manufacturing. To ensure this, all Porter bags and backpacks are made exclusively in Japan. Consisting of extremely durable nylon fabric that is stain and water resistant, Porter-Yoshida & Co. products insist on timeless aesthetics and a sturdiness that ensures they will be enjoyed for a long time.

Since the parent company Yoshida & Co. was founded in 1935, bags have been produced in Tokyo according to old Japanese craft traditions, with every single seam and cut made by hand. Influenced by the experience of founder Kichizo Yoshida having to carry his belongings around on his shoulders after the great Kanto earthquake in 1923, his guiding principle for Yoshida & Co. is that bags should first and foremost be functional tools for carrying things. Of course, carrying comfort also plays a major role.
