Thrasher HHV Clothing

When people discuss the most influential skateboard magazine, ten out of ten guys will agree that Thrasher will always be number one. Established in January of 1981, the Thrasher Magazine is a monthly publication dedicated to the wild world of skateboarding. Founded by Kevin Thatcher, Eric Swenson, and Fausto Vitello, the pics illustrated in the Thrasher Mag set the standards for ages, the same applies to the famous Thrasher video series. The Thrasher design even left a mark on the aesthetics of skateboarding – not least because of guys like street art icon Pushead (remember classic record covers by Dr. Octagon, Metallica, FU’s, SS Decontrol, and his own thrash outfit Septic Death) who regularly contributed to the magazine with artworks as well as his Puszone column. From the beginning, the Thrasher guys were down with the punk rock/hardcore scene, so it became a natural move to release the legendary Skate Rock compilation series under the Thrasher banner. But first and foremost, when you hear the name Thrasher, you think of the amazing logo. With or without flames. Or right on top of the pentagram skateboard artwork. You gotta love it. If you’re into skateboarding and you never owned a Thrasher tee, sweater or hoodie, your life has been incomplete.
