Yard HHV Clothing

Due to the lack of streetwear clothing for dancehall enthusiasts in the late 90s, in 2001 a couple of guys from Berlin came together to create an idea of establishing their own label. They’ve been longtime dancehall activists, so they knew exactly about the needs of their peers and gathered all their courage to establish Yard Gear, a supplier of fresh reggae-inspired apparel. Their goal was to create a high-quality clothing line for the forward-thinking rudeboy who wasn’t into recycling old stereotypes. It was a more fashion and lifestyle-oriented thing inspired by Caribbean culture, music and soundsystem street dances. Nowadays Yard Gear is known all over the European dancehall scene – even international acts like Beenie Man, Buju Banton, Busy Signal, Movado, Bunji Garlin, Luciano, U-Roy and Bitty McLean sport Yard Gear. ’cause they know that their products are styles ahead in bashment clothing.
