The Adsum Atmosphere Shorts are a warm weather appropriate version of the brand's Atmosphere Pants. It's an outdoor utility design built from a stretch 3-layer 10K waterproof breathable polyester fabric. The Adsum Atmosphere Shorts are equipped with a single large cargo pocket at the wearer's right leg as well as a single rear flap pocket with hidden snap closure. A new design for SS24 season, the Adsum Ultirip Pants are constructed using a strong midweight nylon rip-stop fabric. The Adsum Ultirip Pants are a fixed waistband style that has rounded patch pockets slightly angled on the rear side of the pant. Additional features of the Adsum Ultirip Pants include a large hidden sungrip snap at center front closure, coil nylon zipper fly as well as a cinchable ankle hem with via round elastic shock-cord and dual hole cord locks. The Adsum Ultirip Pants were designed as an outdoor work pant that isn't made from heavy materials like duck canvas or twill so they will be quick to dry and can hack abrasion from whatever you throw at it.

The Adsum Higgie Jacket is a multi stow pocket utility design that has been inspired by the classic M65 military parka as well as adventure travel jackets from the early 90s. Consider it a part of the same family as Adsum's past season M97 jacket with improved all-weather fabric due to the synthetic fibers spun into yarn.

Adsum sourced a mid-weight cotton/polyester multiply taslan fabric that's equipped with a matte finish and smooth hand feel. The roll-down nylon collar can be unsnapped and worn as a wind stopper on foul days. All pockets feature sandwich bag construction allowing them to expand to hold anything you can jam into them.

Adsum aimed to make the fit simple on the Breezer Shirt. There's no scoop at all on the hem so it’s boxy fitting and specifically designed to be worn untucked. The collar of the Adsum Breezer Shirt remains without buttons and has a modern shape without too much collar roll in comparison to the brand's premium BD styles. Not all workshirts need to be made from bulletproof fabrics, especially those that were designed for spring and summer seasons. Adsum lightened the regular workshirt fabric weights to produce a sub 200 g/m² shirt fabric perfect for humid summer months. The Adsum Flat Hem Workshirt's cloth feels worn-in at first use due to a micro-peach fabric finish. With a boxier fitting than the Adsum Classic Plaid Workshirt, the Flat Hem Workshirt is not equipped with a scoop similar to the popular Breezer Shirt. By the way, this is the only design Adsum uses OG triple needle flat fell chainstitch construction at the side seams and armholes.

Established by Pete Macnee in Brooklyn, New York City, in 2015, Adsum is an American clothing brand that put its focus on high quality manufacturing and timeless design. Adsum creates garment pieces that has been inspired by the cities, landscapes and climates of the Northeast of the United States of America. The Adsum collections are made of unique basic styles with stripped down, classic looks, blending traditional menswear with a mix of technical outerwear and sportswear.

Adsum: The ultimate combination of technical functionality, comfort & casual flavor.

In 2015, Macnee was looking for opportunities to develop further and realize his own ideas. He was interested in manufacturing clothing in NYC. The clothing he wanted to design was clothing that is difficult to manufacture such as technical outdoor clothing. For example, Macnee wanted to find out how down jackets and seam-sealed rain jackets could be produced without having to rely on remote production facilities. Deep down it was a passionate project, just designing timeless apparel pieces he’d like to wear himself.

Growing up doing different kind of sports like soccer, rugby, tennis and hockey, sportswear always had a huge impact on Adsum. Plus, the outdoors was also a big influence of the Adsum founder’s life. Those two things will always be a constant inspiration for Adsum collections. Adsum also wants to keep things casual instead of adding too much fancy details. Adsum’s goal is to work with the best fabrics and the best mills in the world, but the company still want to be approachable. Plus, the Brooklyn-based brand likes to keep it purist and simple to make sure their clothes won’t run out of style when the season is finished.
