The Filson 24-Hour Tin Cloth Briefcase combines time-tested, traditional materials with time-honored craftsmanship to create a bag that meets the needs of the modern business traveler. Filson has combined the capacity of the padded computer case with the sleek design of the brand's original briefcase to create a design that gets the job done, no matter where your work takes you.

Filson's legendary oil-finished Tin Cloth has proven itself for decades protecting foresters, miners and sportsmen from wetness and adverse conditions - so you can be sure your gear is well protected on all your travels. British Millerain's Duck canvas is thoroughly impregnated with Filson's oil finish wax, repelling rain, snow and mud. The Tin Cloth's tight weave boasts high abrasion and tear resistance, making it the ideal material for a lighter bag that will stand the test of time. The handles are cut, burnished and edge-dyed at the Filson factory in Seattle using vegetable-tanned leather from Wickett & Craig in Pennsylvania. The leather is slowly soaked in a special bark tanning solution and "hot-stuffed" with tallow and waxes in the final stage. This environmentally friendly tanning process transforms the cowhide into a durable, supple leather suitable for horse and saddlery as well as filson briefcases. With virtually indestructible solid brass YKK® zippers and durable cotton wrapped polyester thread, this briefcase is built for decades of faithful service.

Toughness and durability were top priorities when designing the Filson 24-Hour Tin Cloth Briefcase, but convenience and practicality were not to be neglected. The interior is fully lined with dry Tin Cloth and features a padded laptop divider that protects laptops up to 15 inches in size, as well as two storage pockets for accessory storage. The two exterior pockets include a zippered security pocket and a slotted utility pocket, each with an open storage compartment behind it - this is extremely convenient for phones, boarding passes or other items you need to access quickly. The back features a full-width storage compartment and a trolley strap that slides over rolling luggage handles to free up your hands and lighten your luggage. The removable, adjustable shoulder strap is made of flexible, two-inch wide cotton webbing that conforms to the shape of the shoulder for maximum comfort. The double-layered bottom and custom sand-cast solid brass hardware are other examples of how Filson thought of everything when designing this bag.
