RoToTo Recycle Cotton Ribbed Crew Socks (Blue / Green)

These low-gauge RoToTo socks are made by knitting thick recycled cotton yarn, like those used for hand-knitting, on a rare old-style knitting machine. The recycled cotton yarn used by RoToTo for the Recycle Cotton Ribbed Crew Socks is an original yarn developed by a yarn trading company based in Nara Prefecture. Due to the short fibers, it's a globally environmentally friendly yarn that collects fibers commonly known as "ochiwata" (which means unused fibers) that were supposed to be disposed of as industrial waste without being used at spinning factories in Japan and re-spun them using a special technology. Due to its characteristics, it's slightly easy to fluff, but by taking two threads of different colors and knitting them together, RoToTo have created a heather look and finished the Recycle Cotton Ribbed Crew Socks with less noticeable fluff and dirt. 92% cotton, 6% polyester, 2% polyurethane; made in Japan.
