Introduced in 2011, the VEJA Esplar got its name from Brazilian NGO which brings technical support to the organic cotton farming families Veja works with in North Brazil since 2004. The VEJA Esplar sneakers are not your ordinary kicks, as they are built from recycled poly tech lining, REACH-approved leather as well as 65% bio-based and recycled vulcanized soles. Plus, these VEJA shoes are produced in a high standard International Labour Organization factory in Brazil. In addition, to make VEJA Esplar look and feel different, the design smoothly blends minimalist aesthetics with innovative technologies.
