VEJA's Rio Branco sneakers are not your ordinary kicks, as the Aircell upper as well as the tech lining are made from recycled polyester; the former has been finished with cowhide suede overlays tanned in Brazil in compliance with REACH standards, plus there's wild rubber from the Amazonian forest used for the outsole. These VEJA shoes are produced in a high standard International Labour Organization factory in Brazil. In addition, to make VEJA Rio Branco look and feel different, the design smoothly blends minimalist aesthetics with innovative technologies.

Aircell is an extremely lightweight and highly breathable fabric made entirely from recycled polyester. The double-layer knitting technique used for this fabric allows VEJA to dispense with a lining. This is due to a dense structure despite high air permeability. Aircell offers perfect comfort and flexibility, making it suitable for the extra-light models in the VEJA collection.
