This Puebco design is a simple vase made of recycled glass. Glass that would otherwise be discarded is crushed into small pieces and reused as a raw material called cullet. Depending on the composition of the cullet, the expression will be different one by one. It's characterized by its unique bluish color, surface fluctuations, and air bubbles. Founded in 1952, Chugai Toen is a ceramics craft manufacturer located in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture. The company specializes in auspicious ornaments such as Oriental zodiac ornaments, beckoning cats, hina dolls, May dolls, wind chimes, and mosquito repellent containers, as well as pottery that adds seasonal color.While many manufacturers outsource product design, Chugai Toen created an in-house system to produce high-quality items.
