Elmer Gloves Accessories

Established in 1893 in Gloversville, USA, by gloves craftsman Elmer Little, Elmer Gloves is a well-reputed company specialized in producing high-quality gloves. During the 19th Century, this region was famous for producing premium deer skin leather since the inhabitants learned tanning deer skin from Native Americans, so many leather craftsmen gathered in the Gloversville area in search of high-quality deer leather. After the technology of British gloves company Dents was brought to Gloversville, Elmer Little & Sons started to manufacture gloves. Although, the region of Gloversville and Jonestown was home of the US gloves industry including more than 200 manufacturers, it was Elmer Gloves that prevailed against the competitors, thanks to perfect workmanship, premium quality as well as durability of their products. Recently, Elmer Gloves has been resurrected by Japanese company Swany that carries on the brand’s tradition while incorporating slight Japanese influences concerning design and processing.
