For all those who want their kicks to be as sustainable as possible, adidas presents the Primegreen edition of the Superstar. Introduced in 1969, the iconic design of adidas Originals' famous Superstar had a major influence on sneaker culture, thanks to the rubber shell toe box and the sophisticated look. Since then, the Superstar ran through urban subcultures like G Rap records ran through the hip hop underground – and it's still at the top of sneaker connoisseurs' lists! The adidas Superstar Primegreen is equipped with features such as synthetic plus leather upper (50% of upper is recycled content, and no virgin polyester was used!), tonal 3 Stripes tapes at side walls, a split heel patch made from different materials and using different measures plus multicolored adidas trefoil logo embroidery at one half and monochrome embossed branding at the other, the famous rubber shell toe box, synthetic lining, a foam-padded insole with Paisley pattern as well as the stitched, stitched cupsole made from abrasion-resistant rubber with herringbone tread. Additional branding includes a adidas bluebird label graphic printed at the tongue and multicolored Superstar lettering embossed at side wall.
