Nudie Jeans Gritty Jackson (Black Forest)

This Nudie Jeans Gritty Jackson is made from Japanese selvage denim. The slightly slubby warp yarns have been dip-dyed 12 times, whereas the uniform weft yarns have been cone-dyed. This gives the warp yarn a clean white core that will crock off dye quicker than the weft. Giving the denim the ability to fade towards a clear grey hue while the weft, which mainly shows on the back of the fabric, will keep a darker shade that will show in the diagonal twill lines on the face of the fabric. The warp and weft yarns’ different structures will make the fabric pucker slightly, giving it a salt ’n pepper look with highlighting grain at the warp slub that contrasts darker depots in between slubs.
