Puma x Shantell Martin Basket (Puma White / Puma White)

For the current season, Puma joined forces with visual artist Shantell Martin. Born in London, UK, Shantell Martin is known for her innovative projections as well as her playful use of black and white contrasts. For the Puma x Shantell Martin collection, the New York-based artist incorporated all her strengths, while most designs have been finished with her signature lettering.

In 1971, Puma introduced the Basket silhouette as the slick brother of the Clyde, a low-top basketball icon. The shape was very similar, the design was as low-key, but the brand replaced the suede upper with leather.
